New build house in the Irish countryside. The house was designed in close collaboration with the client to achieve their desire for a home that was both elegant and comfortable with a combination of open plan and cosy intimate spaces. The ground floor accommodation was arranged to allow for the open plan kitchen and living space with a large curved staircase at the centre of the plan. The house was designed to make the most of its setting, situated on the crest of a hill with arresting views of the surrounding countryside on all sides.
