Elmpark House
Elmpark House – Listed Villa in the Scottish Borders
The existing flat comprising first floor and attic level accommodation required restoration and repair to existing fabric. The building had been unoccupied for a number of years and had suffered from water ingress which caused damage to the existing structure. The roof required new leadwork to concealed parapet gutter. External stone repairs were undertaken and internally structural repairs were carried out due to dry rot. There were significant repairs to the existing decorative plasterwork in the main living spaces. Existing internal walls were removed to reinstate the existing proportions of the regency living spaces and the attic was converted to create 2 additional bedrooms.
