Her work is underpinned by a strong desire to improve design quality and maximise the potential for creative thinking in the process. Caroline is ARB registered and a member of the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland. She is also a certified Passive House Designer.
David has a degree in Business Management from Heriot Watt University and has over twenty years experience in the construction industry. He ran his own Landscape and Garden Design business for 10 years. He designed and built an award winning garden which received the Silver Medal at the Gardening Scotland exhibition in 2010. He has a passion for the preservation and restoration of old buildings.
We are based in the Scottish Borders but cover the whole of the Edinburgh, East Lothian and the Borders.
The benefit our service offers is the interface between the design and construction phases of the job. When undertaking building work with an architect and a separate builder there can be a split between the design and construction where poor communication between the two teams can result in delays and costly mistakes.
With our service we will be thinking about how to build your project right from the start of the design process. When specifying materials and fittings at the design stage we will consider the order and delivery times so that we can get the materials to site at the correct time. We aim to offer a quicker site start date and a smooth transition between design and construction phases.
